Position Overview

The role of the Teaching Assistant is essentially to assist the Teachers in the delivery of the education program within the classroom and support the activities within and outside the classroom to ensure students are safe, happy, and learning in a positive and nurturing environment.

Reports To

  • Founder and Head of School
  • Headmistress
  • Homeroom Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide range of administrative support
  • Assist teachers in daily learning and teaching
  • Facilitate extracurricular activities and student activities
  • Other duties assigned by the school

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Native fluency in English / Mandarin
  • At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • Teaching certificate, PGCE, or similar is preferred
  • National Putonghua Proficiency Test Grade 2 Level B or above
  • Demonstrated academic excellence
  • Satisfactory criminal background check
