Admissions Process
Schedule a Call with Our Admissions TeamWe are currently accepting Grades 1-6 applications on a rolling basis for entrance in Fall 2024 and Winter 2024. Our admissions process is focused on ensuring that Bloom KKCA Academy is the right fit for the student and family.
Please note that for students to be considered eligible for Grade 1, they must be at least 6 years old by December of the year in which they are enrolling.
We ask that parents follow the steps below when applying to Bloom KKCA Academy, and parents are most welcome to write to us at admissions@bloom.edu.hk with any questions.
1. Attend an info session
Register for our next Info Session. These intimate sessions are designed to take you through a journey of the what, why, who, and how of Bloom KKCA Academy. You will also be able to meet our school’s Director of Admissions and ask questions after the presentation.
2. Submit an application with supporting documents
Once you have decided to apply to Bloom KKCA Academy, please complete our online application form and attach your child's photo, latest school report, and any other supplemental information (e.g. teacher recommendations, student awards etc.)
3. Meet our team
Once we have received your forms and documents, we will arrange for you to meet personally with our school’s Founder and Head of Admissions. As we value every family that joins Bloom KKCA Academy, this meeting will allow us to know more about how we can best support your family and child’s needs, interests, and educational journey.
4. Bring your child in for an assessment
On the same day, or on a later date soon after, we will arrange for the student to come in for an assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to allow our team to understand how best to support your child. Primary students might be invited to interact with other students in a small-group setting.
5. Join our Taster Day
As part of the assessment process, we would like to invite the student to come to our campus for a trial day. During this Taster Day, they will have the chance to attend classes and experience our school's environment, teaching and learning approach and culture.
6. Hear from Admissions
After consulting with the academic team on the assessment results, our Director of Admissions will contact you with the admissions results. Parents will have up to two weeks to notify the school of their matriculation decision.
If you have any questions or inquiries, please contact us at admissions@bloom.edu.hk.
