Jason Adam - Our Team

Jason Adam is from Port Elizabeth on the south coast of South Africa, where his passion for teaching was inspired by the excellent educators in his life, including his mum and grandma, both of whom were dedicated teachers. After graduating from a prestigious school, Jason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Nelson Mandela University. He later moved to Hong Kong to pursue a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Sunderland.

Jason’s teaching journey began at an underprivileged coastal school in South Africa, where he quickly learned the impact of positive influence on students. He then taught English for a year in China before settling in Hong Kong. At a private primary school, he served as both a homeroom teacher and Maths Campus Deputy Head, where he spent several years fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Dedicated to holistic education, Jason believes in teaching the whole child rather than focusing solely on academics. He emphasizes the importance of morals, values, and teamwork, aiming to instill logic and critical thinking in his students. Continuously seeking professional development, Jason integrates innovative teaching methods to enhance his students’ learning experiences.

Beyond the classroom, Jason enjoys sports and competitive games, exploring diverse cuisines, and immersing himself in film and orchestral music. He also treasures family life with his wife and two young sons, believing these connections enrich both his personal journey and his work as an educator.
