Minh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Yale University and a Doctor of Education from the University of Hong Kong. He started his career as a 5th grade math and science teacher at a charter school in Los Angeles. He then moved to Hong Kong in 2011 to serve as a Yale-China Teaching Fellow at the Chinese University Hong Kong, where he taught literature, writing, and communications for the English Department and American history for New Asia College. He has also taught various courses for the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, from Positive Psychology to World Literature to English Debate.
Before joining Bloom KKCA Academy, Minh served as the Executive Director of Academic Affairs at EF Education First, the world's largest private education company. Minh led EF's language research portfolio, including research partnerships with world-renowned scholars at Harvard University, Cambridge University, Peking University, and Tokyo University. He also created digital teacher certification programs and advised governments throughout Asia, Europe, and Latin America on large-scale language assessment and training projects.
Currently as Head of Admissions at Bloom KKCA Academy, Minh looks forward to meeting prospective parents and students who are interested in an innovative, bilingual education that is highly personalized and rigorous. Outside of work, Minh serves on the Board of the Yale International Alliance, Yale Club of Hong Kong, and Just Feel, a social enterprise promoting social-emotional learning in Hong Kong primary schools.
